Focus on Energy provides Cash-Back Rewards and grants for eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install renewable energy systems, such as solar hot water, solar electric and wind. Cash-Back Rewards typically cover 20 percent to 25 percent of the installed cost of the system, making renewable energy systems more affordable.

Before moving forward with any renewable energy project, Focus on Energy recommends having a certified site assessment done on your home or property. A statewide network of certified site assessors is available to answer questions about the technologies and will provide you with unbiased, site-specific information on the renewable energy potential at your site.

Green Power for Business

There’s a simple, new way to make the environment your business – Green Power for Business from your local, community-owned utility company – [Utility Name].

Through Green Power for Business, you can support the use of electricity generated by renewable resources such as wind, waste gases and moving water.

Renewable energy, commonly known as “green power,” is environmentally friendly because it comes from clean, green resources. Best of all, renewable resources replenish themselves naturally, leading to significant reductions in waste and emissions and improved air quality.

There is no special equipment to install, and you choose the amount of green power your organization will buy.

As a Green Power for Business participant, you can:

• Demonstrate concern for the environment

• Show you are a good neighbor
• Boost employee morale and recruitment
• Distinguish your business from competitors

Our Green Power for Business Program is Green-e Energy certified. Green-e Energy was established by the non-profit Center for Resource Solutions to provide information and an objective standard for consumers to compare renewable energy options, and to verify that consumers get what they pay for.
